The PositionThe Opportunity
The Global Supply Chain APAC HUB Business Process Expert /Aspire SME (Subject Matter Expert) for APAC GDC serves as the authoritative voice and primary liaison for the GDC APAC team, engaging directly with ASPIRE Core Workstream and Wave 6 Implementation Leads. This critical role is instrumental in the successful deployment of their designated functional area, overseeing a comprehensive range of activities from initial local Fit-Gap analysis through to cross-topic alignment, cutover, ramp-up, and demobilization. The BPE collaborates closely with functional contacts and leads to ensure the seamless delivery of the project scope. This is an 18-month contract with a high possibility of converting it to permanent headcount.
As the Global Supply Chain APAC HUB Business Process Expert, you're responsible for:
Provide input to the central and local team on local business processes and practices as well as local IT landscape
Describe current and future (relevant) processes and solution landscape and assess impact
Design, align and manage adjustments of Interface with 3PL
Participate in Local Fit Gap, ensuring implications of Template adoption are understood and participate in identifying change impacts
Ensure that Template adoption is maximized and work with their peers to gain commitment and understanding
Adapt legacy system for ASPIRE, i.e. contribute to change of legacy interfaced systems to ASPIRE
Contribute to country questionnaire, system impact assessment, change impact assessment, data scoping, cleansing and migration including data enrichment and data migration dress rehearsal
Actively participate in the extended network to articulate critical local business and reporting requirements
Identify critical legal & regulatory requirements, business critical gaps not covered by the global solution and define workaround for business requirements that can not be integrated in the global solution (if applicable)
Identify critical technical gaps (e.g. interfaces and reports) not covered by the global solution and define workaround for technical requirements that can not be integrated in the global solution (if applicable)
Identify critical processual gaps of adjacent function (e.g. Finance and Quality) not covered by the global solution and define workaround for business requirements that cannot be integrated in the global solution (if applicable)
Orchestrate Alignment for Supply Chain Requirements with adjacent function (e.g. Finance and Quality)
Involve the respective SOP owner to update local SOPs where required
Participate in relevant solution tests (SAT / UAT for local interfaces and reports), prepare and execute Day in a life simulation
Act as local change agents (if appropriate: E.g. if there is no Main Functional Contact in the respective organization)
Conduct role mapping, analyze and resolve SOD (Segregation Of Duties) issues (if appropriate: e.g. if there is no Main Functional Contact in the respective organization)
Attend TTT (train the Trainer) and coordinate and deliver local end user training together with Business and IT SMEs and localize training materials
Actively support local pre-deployment and deployment project phases, especially transition and go-live, plan and track local close down and ramp up.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics).
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience working within a global environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly Good Supply Practices (GSP).
Comprehensive functional and site-specific knowledge relevant to the supply chain operations, aligned with the specific functional area (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
Proven experience managing the function with SAP ERP and a deep understanding of current business processes and system landscapes.
Demonstrated track record of successful delivery and execution in complex, cross-functional projects.
Experience with the implementation of large-scale enterprise projects (e.g., ERP deployments) is highly desirable.
Proven ability to work with senior-level partners in global workstreams within a matrixed environment, leading without direct authority across multiple stakeholders and managing several tasks concurrently.
