Job Description

Global Head of Solution Management within Solution Development & Integration (SDI) Division is responsible for defining, governing and scaling end-to-end solution offerings across Avaloq client projects (SaaS, PaaS, BPaaS and On-Premise). This role ensures strong alignment between Solution Consulting, P&D, A&T and Project Delivery, enabling high quality implementation of Avaloq solutions and improve time-to-market. This position requires strong leadership, business acumen, and technical expertise.

This role is also responsible for leading and managing a team of solutions managers, ensuring that technical solutions align with client business needs and company objectives. They must develop a deep understanding of the company's objectives and market trends, work closely with other departments, and build strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Own end-to-end solution design, ensuring consistency across domains and platforms for client implementations
  • Drive alignment of business and technical requirements with clients, P&D, and domain leads
  • Ensure solution designs meet client requirements while coordinating cross-domain dependencies
  • Act as the primary escalation point for solution scope, complexity, and delivery risks
  • Partner with Solution Consulting to define and position solution offerings for new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with P&D to shape and prioritize the product roadmap aligned with regional needs
  • Ensure alignment of solution design, scope, and delivery roadmap with P&D, A&T, and Project Management, including Regulatory Compliance roadmap.
  • Promote standardized, scalable solutions while minimizing unnecessary customization
  • Enable reuse of solution frameworks and best practices across projects and regions
  • Drive overall solution quality, delivery efficiency, and successful client outcomes
  • Build and scale global Solution Management capabilities and Centers of Excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Min. 10 years of leading teams in solution management / architecture / delivery or a similar role, ideally within banking, wealth management, or fintech industry.
  • Proven track record in large-scale banking transformation programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including cross-regional collaboration, client-facing communication, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Strong people leader with experience guiding teams, promoting collaboration, and cultivating a high-performance culture.
