As a Global Facilities Cost Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading expense data governance, analytics, and reporting initiatives across the global facilities network.
You will need to be actively engaged with Global and Site Facilities teams, Corporate Finance, Central Planning teams, and other cross-functional business partners to develop the Facilities cost data reporting capabilities and establish network solutions to ensure facilities cost data accuracy.
This role requires a strong data management background, and ability to translate complex data into concise summaries and dashboard. You should be detail-oriented, with the capability of providing clear and qualitative data analysis for higher management to support decision making. You should possess detailed understanding on cost expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and providing benchmarking. This role also requires flexibility and ability to maintain global relationships, excellent communication and presentation skills.
Major Job Responsibilities:
Expense Governance and Program Management
  • Lead Global Facilities expense governance processes, including reporting cadence, controls, and compliance standards.
  • Lead monthly Expense P2P performance management by analyzing variances, highlighting key cost drivers, and driving issue resolution and corrective actions across the global facilities network.
  • Support the Quarterly Business Plan budgeting process by enabling informed prioritization and effective allocation of resources to critical business needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment with relevant stakeholders on expense data definitions, assumptions, target setting and reporting requirements.
  • Manage structured review processes and performance tracking mechanisms to support ongoing expense governance.
  • Identify cost trends, risks, improvement opportunities, and provide insights to leadership to support decision-making.

Expense Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Ensure continuous accuracy of Global Facilities expense data through consolidation, variance analysis, and key cost-driver identification.
  • Develop executive-level dashboards, scorecard and reporting materials to clearly communicate expense performance and risks.
  • Translate complex operation data into clear and actionable summaries to support leadership decisions.
  • Provide strategic decision-support through scenario analysis, benefits assessment, and what-if modeling to improve the accuracy of quarterly BP planning and forecasting.

Process, System and Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with Finance, Planning, IT, and System Owners to resolve data discrepancies and integration issues across expense management systems.
  • Maintain governance documentation, reporting standards and process/policy guideline to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
  • Support reporting automation, system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives to promote efficiency and data reliability.
  • Ensure ongoing integrity, traceability, and transparency of expense data across all reporting and planning platforms.
  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cost management and complex data analytics within enterprise environments; experience in semiconductor or other capital-intensive industries is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills, with the ability to manage and interpret complex datasets.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, enterprise BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for analyzing and reporting financial and operational data.
  • Familiarity with cost management and planning systems, including SAP and SAP Analytics Cloud Planning (SAC-P).
  • Good understanding of Micron's expenditure processes and Facilities operations, engineering, or cost models is preferred.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy, data integrity, and handling sensitive information responsibly.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness, adaptability, and the ability to build trusted long-term working relationships across diverse teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on identifying efficiencies and driving process enhancements.
