Responsibilities and Tasks
Monitoring global chemical compliance obligations!
Planning and executing experiments
Analyzing data
Working with team members to translate compliance obligations into Micron requirements through specifications or other documentation
Participate in chemical compliance consortia
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or Engineering
Chemical regulatory basic knowledge required
Environmental, health, safety, or sustainability preferred
Semiconductor background preferred
Assembly test knowledge preferred

Strong written and verbal communication in English
Spirit of teamwork and shared responsibility
Ability to effectively collaborate with multi-functional organizations, including internal and external, and across geographies to understand how compliance obligations impact the sites and translate them into actionable plans
Project management skills including establishing and tracking to schedules, articulating dependencies, articulating requirements, documenting deliverables and key decisions
Proven facilitation skills including the ability to influence others
Flexibility and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment as chemicals, regulations, and processes change
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Travel: 5-10%
