Job Title: Vice President, General Insurance Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Performance & Management Reporting
  • Lead the preparation of business updates for senior management forums, including performance decks, forecasts and materials for country and regional governance platforms.
  • Oversee performance tracking across telesales, branch, lead generation and mortgage fire portfolios, with a clear view of sales outcomes, productivity, headcount, pipeline and key business drivers.
  • Translate business results into clear management narratives, highlighting risks, opportunities, gaps and actions for leadership attention.

  1. Stakeholder & Partner Management
  • Partner channel leads, product teams and insurer counterparts to align on business priorities, validate reporting inputs and ensure timely delivery of leadership updates.
  • Build strong working relationships across business, platform, operations, technology, analytics, compliance and insurer teams to move priorities forward and resolve issues efficiently.

  1. Governance, Risk & Control
  • Support governance, risk and control activities, including internal reviews, audits, annual partner assessments, policy reviews and operating procedure documentation.
  • Provide oversight for operational governance matters relating to managed sales teams, including onboarding controls, access governance, compliance requirements and business continuity readiness.
  • Oversee insurer commission and billing processes, including review of statements, issue resolution, billing approvals and coordination with finance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  1. Customer Complaints & Issue Resolution
  • Own end-to-end complaint oversight across channels, including investigations, stakeholder coordination, response preparation and resolution tracking, with particular care for escalations involving regulators or sensitive customer matters.

  1. Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvement
  • Drive strategic and operational initiatives across sales and servicing channels, from product launches and process changes to customer journey improvements, governance clearances and implementation follow-through.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, strengthen and improve business processes, reporting discipline and operating controls.
 Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, economics or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in business management, bancassurance, insurance or financial services.
  • Proven ability to manage senior management reporting and present business insights effectively.
  • Experience handling stakeholders across multiple teams, including external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to connect data, business context and execution priorities.
  • Confident communicator with strong writing skills.
  • Team player with good organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities at pace.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
