If you are able to express your ideas clearly over the phone, this job is made for you. As a Telesales GI Executive, you will call up the existing policyholders to assist with the renewal and promote affordable and accessible insurance to customers by relating the importance of insurance to them and/or responding to their queries. You will be depended on to increase the retention rate and reach of our policies. You will first be equipped with comprehensive knowledge of our products. Then, you will be tasked with the mission of sharing the importance of protective insurance and sound financial planning to potential customers through phone discussions, while recommending them suitable policies and addressing their financial needs. You will be required to: 


Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct outbound phone calls to existing policyholders for policy renewal and market general insurance products and services 
  • Entrench a strong brand image of Income through solid advice and honest sales pitch
  • Identify sales opportunities for cross/up-selling of products 
  • Follow up on enquiries and promote direct business product activations 
  • Undertake any other duties or projects as assigned by the supervisor or Head of Section  
  • Work closely with Team Leader for development and implement of sales and service strategies 

Qualification: 

  • Have obtained a minimum of A Level or Diploma. Relevant insurance qualifications, like BCP, PGI, HI 
  • Have experience in the insurance industry. Previous telesales experience will be advantageous  
  • Be motivated when met with challenges, strong-willed and persuasive in recommending suitable products 
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to multi-task to efficiently reply to enquiries
  • Have good verbal communication and customer service skills to appease customers 
  • The work location is at Tampines Central (within walking distance from Tampines MRT). 
  • You should be able to commit to a 5-day work week with standard office hours.
