Cloud Engineer

Project Plan:

Deploy infrastructure and support deployment of application workloads to GCP India Factory

Enhance deployment pipelines to increase the reliability and transparency of the process

Good understanding of IAM (Identity Access Management).

Perform migrations/upgrade during the regular version cycles for GKE, Dataproc, Cloud SQL and other GCP resources

Develop and enhance infra workloads to improve the deployment process and the application architecture

Responsibilities and Tasks

Provide day to day support to application teams in deploying their workloads

Perform migrations and upgrades of GCP workloads while coordinating with relevant application teams

Design workloads and deliverables with long-term maintainability and cost-efficiency in mind

Ensure that code quality is maintained and of a high level

Work along with the GCP Factory team to deliver the above-mentioned tasks

Provide guidance to new and junior team members such that they can quickly become productive
