Who we’re looking for
This role oversees end-to-end fund operations across APAC, ensuring strong performance and control adherence from third party vendors, managing daily NAV oversight and issue resolution, supporting regulatory and tax reporting obligations (including FATCA, CRS, SOC, BAS), and coordinating financial audits. It is also responsible for maintaining operational readiness for new fund and share class launches, keeping procedures and control documents up to date, and partnering closely with TA oversight, Client Reporting, and other internal teams to ensure seamless client servicing. The role drives process enhancements to improve team efficiency, provides guidance and development for junior team members, and serves as a role model in best practices, prioritisation, and time management, while handling various ad hoc tasks as needed.

What you’ll do
- Ensure high performance standards of third party suppliers through vendor oversight.
- Pre-empt and triage issues, making sure controls are adhered to, and exceptions are escalated timely.
- Ensure follow through of remediation actions points.
- NAV oversight across APAC funds, ensuring daily NAVs are disseminated on a timely basis.
- Raise and rectify NAV related issues with service providers.
- Review management fee reports and other accruals.
- Process regulatory reporting knowledge (eg. FATCA, CRS, SFC reporting).
- Assist with tax reporting requirements (eg. SOC, BAS).
- Extend operational assistance new Fund launches/Share class launches.
- Work closely with TA oversight and Client Reporting teams to ensure seamless end-to-end processing to clients.
- Coordination and assistance for semi-annual and annual financial audits.
- Be a role model for the team in terms of best practices, time management, and prioritisation.
- Liaise and assist in the management of stakeholders across various functional teams.
- Facilitate in updating department’s procedure manuals and control documents.
- Increase team efficiency through process enhancement initiatives.
- Help train and develop junior team members.
- Any other ad hoc or administrative duties.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Has sufficient technical skills and can perform assigned tasks and processes independently.
- Knowledge of how funds work and unit trust structure.
- Working knowledge end-to-end process from transfer agency to fund administration to client reporting.
- A significant level of fund operations experience.
- Good with Microsoft applications, including Excel to an intermediate level.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prioritise and manage activities for the benefit of the business.
- Be a good team player and be willing to assist team members when necessary.
- Good people management experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to multitask and work under time pressure.
- Good to have – regulatory knowledge across APAC jurisdiction (SG, HK, TW, AU)
