Role Summary

Act as a commercially driven business partner to franchisees, combining strong operational expertise with sharp financial acumen to unlock growth. This role requires the ability to adapt engagement styles across diverse franchisees and markets, influencing decisions that drive both immediate performance and long-term value creation.


 Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Own Commercial Performance & Unit Economics
•    Drive top-line growth + bottom-line improvement across markets, identifying and activating key levers (pricing, mix, promotions, channels, cost structure) 
•    Analyze + optimize unit economics, ensuring franchisees operate sustainable and scalable business models 
•    Translate financial and operational data into clear actions that improve ROI and profitability
Dynamic Franchisee Partnership
•    Act as a trusted, credible advisor, flexing between coach, challenger, and partner based on franchisee maturity and market context 
•    Lead fact-based, commercially grounded conversations with franchisees to influence decisions and unlock performance 
•    Navigate diverse market dynamics, tailoring strategies to local realities while maintaining system alignment
Performance Management & Accountability
•    Own end-to-end performance routines using Balanced Scorecard and KPIs, driving accountability and continuous improvement 
•    Diagnose root causes of underperformance and deploy targeted, high-impact interventions at store and market level 
•    Ensure disciplined follow-through and measurable results across initiatives 
Execution Excellence with Business Impact
•    Ensure consistent delivery of brand standards, food safety, and guest experience, linking execution directly to sales and profitability outcomes 
•    Lead rollout of key initiatives (menu, promotions, operations) with a focus on speed, adoption, and commercial return 
•    Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and scale best practices across markets 
Strategic Influence & Cross-Functional Leadership
•    Act as the voice of the franchisee and market, influencing regional and global stakeholders to shape commercially viable strategies 
•    Partner cross-functionally (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to maximize business impact and execution effectiveness 
•    Lead forums and governance routines to align priorities, drive decisions, and accelerate results 
Capability Building for Sustainable Growth
•    Elevate franchisee and field team capabilities in commercial thinking, financial acumen, and performance management 
•    Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across the system 
•    Support brand expansion (NNU) by ensuring strong operational and economic foundations


Qualifications

Requirements
•    7+ years' experience in multi-unit operations, franchise management, or business performance roles 
•    Strong commercial and financial acumen, with demonstrated ability to influence P&L outcomes 
•    Proven ability to influence franchisees and stakeholders without direct authority, adapting style to different situations 
•    Experience navigating complex, multi-market or matrix environments 
•    Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, financial modeling) and strong ability to translate insights into action 
•    Highly analytical, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
