What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
Accountabilities
- International Medical Products and Distribution finance position covering Asia region with a hybrid of Distribution Markets and Direct Markets
- Full Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) scope, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
- Support in the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, incorporating business initiatives, economic trends, and operational effectiveness. Aligns plans to business strategies and gains alignment from business partners
- Prepares monthly financial reporting package, including variance and financial statement analysis
- Identifies and executes upon process improvement opportunities, ensuring strong controls are in place
- Performs customer and product profitability analysis. Identifies opportunities to drive revenue growth, margin expansion and a more favorable mix
- Support Pricing which includes maintenance, pricing approval, pricing impact and profitability analysis
- Effectively liaises with accounting services provider and corporate accounting to ensure correct allocation of expenses
- Any ad hoc assignment and reporting to support Finance and Sales Management when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in FP&A or Accounting, preferably in multinational (MNC) environment
- Experience and knowledge in MS Excel, SAP Hana or data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI
