The Global Finance Team is responsible for the management and control of WorldQuant’s financial reporting systems. The team works closely with product and country managers, as well as with affiliated offices globally.

The Role: Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for running the day-to-day financial operations in Asia for WorldQuant BRAIN, an advanced crowdsourcing platform for external consultants to contribute signals and data. The Financial Analyst will also contribute to the broader Financial Planning and Analysis team activity for Asia including management reporting, cost allocations, and analysis of profitability.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with internal customers to lead the overall onboarding process for consultants across multiple regions
  • Provide oversight, support, and maintain accounts to enable smooth processing of payments to consultants
  • Provide project management for implementing updates, new processes, and expansion to new regions
  • Prepare regular reporting to business partners as well as ad hoc reporting upon request
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global finance team members, product managers, and affiliated office accountants internally

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with equivalent experience
  • Advanced Excel and data leadership skills (will be evaluated as part of the interview process)
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a financial services industry role
  • Ability to manage processes / procedures, navigate various systems / financial models, and analyze workflows
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical approach; ability to troubleshoot problems with internal customers
