Job Description

Role Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial management of the Singapore legal entity, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, corporate policies, and financial reporting standards. The role supports business decision-making through financial analysis, governance, and strategic planning, while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS/IFRS).
Ensure timely submission of statutory reports, including:
Annual financial statements
Corporate income tax filings (IRAS)
GST reporting and compliance
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities (e.g., ACRA, IRAS).
Maintain compliance with Singapore Companies Act and relevant regulations.

2. Legal Entity Control & Governance
Act as the finance custodian for the Singapore legal entity.
Ensure proper governance, internal controls, and adherence to corporate policies.
Monitor intercompany transactions, transfer pricing compliance, and balance reconciliations.
Support board reporting and statutory filings.

3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to senior management.
Partner with business stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and cost optimization.

4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
Oversee banking relationships, payments, and working capital management.
Ensure optimal funding and cash utilization within the entity.

5. Tax Management
Ensure compliance with corporate tax, GST, and other local tax requirements.
Coordinate tax planning and support audits or tax reviews.
Monitor changes in Singapore tax regulations and assess impact.

6. Internal Controls & Risk Management
Design, implement, and monitor internal controls (e.g., SOX compliance where applicable).
Identify financial risks and drive mitigation strategies.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

7. Stakeholder Management
Act as key contact for regional/global finance teams.
Collaborate with legal, HR, and operations functions.
Support external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and regulators.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA Singapore) preferred.
5–10 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to Singapore legal entity management.

Strong knowledge of
SFRS/IFRS
Singapore tax regulations (IRAS, GST, Pillar II)
ACRA statutory requirements

Experience working in a multinational environment is an advantage.

In-depth knowledge of Singapore regulatory environment
High attention to detail and strong internal control mindset
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to operate independently and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, S4) and MS Excel
