The Finance Intern will support the Finance & Accounting Department, assist with data entry, month-end close, tax reporting, and audit preparation, while documenting procedures and contributing to projects.

What you will do:
- Providing support to the Finance & Accounting Department;
- Performing daily office tasks, such as data entry, examining financial records to check for accuracy, etc;
- Assisting with the preparation of month end close, tax reporting and statutory audit of group entities;
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data;
- Assisting with the preparation of month end close, tax reporting and statutory audit of group entities;
- Documenting standard operating procedures and give suggestions for process improvement;
- Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned;
- Support ad-hoc projects or duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Familiarity with Accounting principles
- Knowledge of local accounting/tax standard preferred
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills
- Microsoft office knowledge, particularly Microsoft Excel, Words, Powerpoint
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Enjoy the fast pace environment
- Available for full time internship for 4 - 6 months.
This internship comes with a monthly allowance of RM1,000.
