Finance Business Partner - Jurong Site

About the Job 

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) for Singapore Jurong is a strategic finance leader responsible for delivering comprehensive financial insights and partnering with operational management to drive business performance. This role combines financial stewardship with business advisory capabilities, ensuring accurate financial reporting while supporting strategic decision-making across the site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership & Reporting
  • Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting for current and future periods, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
  • Maintain legal responsibility for all finance matters within scope, including financial statement preparation and sign-off
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies and maintain high standards of data quality across all financial processes
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with established timelines and Group standards
• Business Partnership & Strategic Advisory
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to operational management, providing financial insights and challenging business assumptions to drive optimal decision-making
  • Assess risks and opportunities, supporting management in implementing corrective actions and proactive business improvements
  • Conduct comprehensive financial and business analyses for operational, strategic, and project-related matters, including new opportunities, acquisitions, alliances, and partnerships
• Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead the development and maintenance of entity forecasts, including Budget, Trends, and Long Range Plans
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to site activities
  • Report, analyze, and explain variances versus targets and competitive benchmarks where applicable
• Operational Finance Management
  • Oversee reporting, accounting, financial systems, treasury, and tax functions within the designated perimeter
  • Optimize resources, assets, and liabilities while minimizing risk exposure
  • In certain circumstances, provide supervision for Supply Chain, IT, and/or Procurement functions
• Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, develop, and manage the finance team, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance standards
  • Build organizational capability through effective talent management and succession planning

About you

• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience in senior finance roles with business partnering responsibilities
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments preferred
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulatory requirements
