Finance Associate Manager (Account Receivables)
Responsible for overseeing daily accounts receivable operations, with a strong focus on collections activities across the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Africa, Europe, and Middle East (AEM) regions. This includes monitoring outstanding balances, driving timely collections, and ensuring adherence to credit policies and internal controls.
Directly supports and collaborates closely with the Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable, providing regular updates on collection performance, risk exposure, and process improvements. Acts as a key liaison between regional stakeholders, finance teams, and external customers to resolve collections issues.
Leads and manages the Accounts Receivable Collections team based in Singapore, providing guidance, performance oversight, and coaching to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and achievement of collection targets. Continuously reviews and enhances collection strategies, processes, and systems to improve overall effectiveness and operational excellence.

Monitor, evaluate, and review staff performance against established KPIs, providing regular feedback and implementing improvement plans where necessary.
Oversee and manage case assignments within Service Cloud, ensuring timely and accurate allocation, tracking, and resolution of collection-related activities.
Take ownership of CXI Report, ensuring effective handling of customer queries, disputes, and escalations in alignment with service standards.
Generate, analyze, and act on daily collections reports to track outstanding receivables, identify risks, and drive timely follow-ups.
Prepare and deliver monthly collection forecasts to the Treasury Team, providing insights on cash flow projections and collection trends.
Demonstrates solid experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) transaction processing, with a strong understanding of end-to-end AR operations, including billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
Applies practical experience in identifying and implementing process improvements for collections to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Proven track record of working within an international business environment, with regular exposure to cross-regional stakeholders and the ability to operate effectively in a diverse, matrixed organization.
Possesses a broad understanding of finance functions within an organization, including how Accounts Receivable interfaces with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
Operates with a moderate to high degree of independence in managing day-to-day responsibilities, while escalating complex issues and risks to senior management as appropriate.
Exercises judgment within defined policies and procedures, with authority to make decisions related to collections strategies, customer communications, and prioritization of accounts.
May provide input into operational planning, performance targets, and process enhancements, supporting overall department objectives.
Finance Qualification of Degree Level or equivalent in Finance with 5-7 years of collections experience.
Strong knowledge of the Accounts Receivable (AR) environment, with particular expertise in collections, cash application processes, and best practices
Proven experience communicating effectively in a global environment, engaging with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands in a fast-paced setting.
Good understanding of technologies and systems supporting billing and receipting processes, with the ability to leverage tools to improve efficiency. Experience with Oracle is an advantage.
Working knowledge of indirect tax frameworks, including VAT, GST, and other regional tax requirements relevant to AR operations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data and present insights clearly.
Strong numerical aptitude with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain structured workflows.
