We are seeking an experienced financial and accounting professional to join our Financial Management team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing expertise and support for finance-related projects.

Additional responsibilities include providing support to the regional finance team on reporting matters.

Main Responsibilities

Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Finance Projects Team, Front Office, Operations, and IT, to ensure finance-related project goals align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Project Management:

  • Assist in the implementation of Core Banking System modification, General Ledger (GL) upgrade and finance process optimization/automation.  

  • Participate in initiatives that support Front Office business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including business requirements, user acceptance test scenarios/cases, business process workflows, and project timelines. 

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing appropriate strategies to address potential challenges and ensuring project continuity.

Support and Reporting:

  • Provide support to the Regional Finance Management (FM) team in all financial, regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including responding to auditors requests  

Work Experience Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting or financial analysis, with a strong background in financial systems and project implementation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate project challenges.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially in MS Excel 

  • Experiences in using SQL, Python and AI will be a Plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field
