DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

  • Data collection for SG Media projects with focus on CMV (Consumer Media View) and RAM (Radio Audience Measurement)
  • Vendor management where needed

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Conduct door-to-door of face-to-face interviews to recruit respondents for assigned Media projects;
  • Supervise part-time interviews to ensure successful project completion

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect data by conducting face-to-face interviews with randomly selected household respondents for 6 days a week
  • Key-in data collected into the survey platform using tablets provided by Nielsen
  • Administer any contact sheet or summary where necessary
  • Ensure that all data collected are accurate
  • Manage assigned part-time interviews on a project basis i.e. RAM (Radio Audience Measurement)
  • Oversee FW quota for both CMV and RAM to ensure successful project completion
  • May perform other ad-hoc duties assigned

KEY STAKEHOLDERS & INTERFACE

  • Reports to Data Acquisition Manager on a regular basis

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2-year door-to-door data collection experience, project management or project delivery relevant experience in market research is preferable;
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in handling a team
  • A good understanding of the principles of market research;
  • Good command of English language, in both written and verbal, and preferably able to speak dialect to coordinate with local personnel;
  • Flexible, able to work beyond office hours and be on standby on weekends and public holidays to address field issues and or interviewer concerns;
  • Good working attitude, responsible and able to work in a fast paced environment

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Ability to persuade selected household respondents to participate in the survey;
  • Able to handle rejection well;
  • Well organized with the ability to plan and prioritize;
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work well with others;
  • Basic knowledge of handling mobile devices/electronic tablets

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS / MEASURES

  • Ensure data collected from respondents are accurate and of quality;
  • Ensure that projects assigned are completed successfully i.e. individual/team quotas are achieved, part-time interviewers completes the assigned tasks/area
