Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the main SIG contact. Work with product and central/engineering planning teams to understand equipment and board demand. Strategize loading to meet Micron's business needs. Manage all communications about CMs' delivery commitments.
- Manage all contract manufacturing (CM) operations during New Product Introduction (NPI) and high-volume Manufacturing (HVM) phases to meet equipment/board delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with the field service team to support post-sale requirements, including repair, upgrades, rework, and spares.
- Identify and mitigate risks impacting CM production and delivery schedules, driving resolutions to meet aligned need dates. Monitor and manage finished goods (FG) inventories and provide inputs to the excess and obsolete (E&O) disposition process.
- Drive purchase price variance (PPV) discussions and decisions with the supply chain team. Lead capacity modeling to ensure tool capacity can meet output requirements.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate capacity constraints while optimizing existing capacity and finding opportunities to minimize capital expenditure related to CM.
- Initiate systemic corrective actions to address recurring root causes that drive missed schedules. Apply data analytics and AI-powered tools to uncover trends, predict risks, and recommend actions. Make data-driven recommendations to partners, collaborators, and leadership for strategic, operational, and funding decisions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to continuously innovate, automate, and improve business processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in contract manufacturer management, outsource management, product management, or product engineering.
- Proficiency in using and learning AI technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
