As an Expert in Operational Excellence, you will drive the OE strategy at the Singapore site, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. You will build OE capabilities by delivering effective training and coaching, embedding Lean Six Sigma methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you will lead strategic planning (Hoshin), program management, and problem-solving initiatives to enhance processes and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in all OE programs at the Singapore site.
  • Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to achieve measurable business objectives aligned with strategic goals.
  • Build OE capability by coaching and mentoring project team members, Yellow/Green Belts, Black Belts, and functional managers, embedding Lean Six Sigma as a standard practice.
  • Support critical business projects as needed.
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery with sustainable benefits.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and influence others positively.
  • Coach employees at all levels to adopt a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset.
  • Ensure the appropriate use of OE tools and methodologies to deliver business-aligned outcomes.
  • Lead Hoshin deployment initiatives at the site.
  • Facilitate cross-functional Kaizen events.
  • Develop and deliver OE belt training programs.
  • Utilize systems such as Plant-Wide Control Systems (PWCS), PI, and TrackWise (TW) as required.
  • Engage with customers as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your Supervisor or Manager.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Life Sciences, Engineering, Technical, or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Operational Excellence.
  • Certification in Green Belt or Black Belt Lean Six Sigma.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to regular problem-solving tasks.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Proven ability to motivate individuals and teams to achieve breakthrough performance goals.
  • Knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused and business-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
