Position:

This role will be responsible for managing the day to day functions of the APAC BD Team.  Oversee and lead the team to ensure revenue targets and goals are met.  It is a high visibility role collaborating with other senior executives within Citco’s line of businesses and will have a direct impact on shaping Citco’s Alternative Fund business in the future.

Your Role: 

  • You will be responsible for the management & execution of Citco’s BD & Sales 3 year business plan and ensure strategy is aligned with global objectives.

  • You will maintain an effective and measurable BD & Sales pipeline across Citco’s lines of business targeting strategic opportunities within the new launch and conversion space.

  • You will manage & measure performance of the BD & Sales function with focus on lead generation, sales activity, revenue forecasting, profitability, performance reporting etc.

  • You will manage the end-to-end sales pipeline process in collaboration with the regional BD/sales team, business SME’s and wider Citco support groups (Integration, Product etc.).

  • You will lead & execute BD & Sales tactical and strategic goals with new market penetration, sales campaigns etc. to ensure proactive approach to new lead generation.

  • You will maintain effective lines of communication to senior management & Citco MD’s and across peer groups, SME’s etc.

  • You will ensure quality of the output of the BD & Sales function in the APAC region.

  • You will manage risk associated with the BD & Sales process & cycle.

  • You will manage BD/Sales reporting requirements to senior management including revenue YTD, timesheets, expenses, monthly news bulletin etc.

  • You will build, maintain and measure success of the APAC feeder network across LOB’s.

  • You will work with Marketing & Communications Group to assist Citco brand building initiatives via industry events and conferences, Citco hosted & co-hosted events.

  • You will Increase Citco’s brand awareness by working alongside Citco’s PR agent.

  • You will coordinate the completion of RFPs, and new business proposals to management.

  • You will create, maintain, and promote product-related branding and marketing pitch materials.

 

About You:

  • You have Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with at least 15+ years’ experience in the Alternative Funds Industry.

  • You have minimum 10+ years’ demonstrated senior leadership experience.

  • You can communicate effectively – negotiation, presentation capabilities.

  • You have a proven record of accomplishment in new business generation with sustainable YOY growth.

  • You have strong knowledge of the alternative fund industry.

  • You are able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • You can demonstrate initiative, change management and leadership capabilities.

  • You are able to escalate when appropriate.

  • CPA, ACCA, CIMA designation would be an advantage.
