We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Senior Executive (or Executive, depending on experience) to join our Business Development & Marketing and Communications team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our firm's growth initiatives across service lines such as Audit, Tax, M&A Advisory, and Consulting with primary focus on the Audit service line. You will work closely with Partners and relevant stakeholders to build relationships with prospective clients, prepare compelling proposal material, and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen our brand presence and deepen client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Support Partners and service line leaders in identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with new prospects and key decision-makers.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and client meetings to build firm visibility and rapport.
- Maintain CRM records and track prospect pipeline development.
Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with Partners and respective service lines to develop, write, and tailor proposals, pitch books, and service offering decks.
- Ensure proposals meet client needs and align with brand and tone of voice.
- Conduct background research on prospects to better inform proposal content.
Market & Client Insights:
- Conduct industry and competitor research to support business development efforts and provide internal insights.
- Monitor market trends and provide actionable intelligence (i.e., reports) to Partners.
Client Feedback & Retention:
- Manage client satisfaction surveys and feedback programs in collaboration with service line teams.
- Help analyse and present findings from client feedback to improve service delivery and identify cross-sell opportunities.
Marketing Campaigns & Branding Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team on campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Assist in developing content or materials that position the firm as a trusted service provider.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a business development, client-facing or audit role.
- Prior experience in a professional services environment (i.e., audit, advisory, or law firm) is a strong advantage.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, with a good eye for detail and branding consistency.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- The ideal candidate is resilient, able to manage multiple priorities effectively, and performs well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for understanding market trends and client needs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel); experience with CRM tools (i.e., NetSuite) is a plus.
