1. Design and Analysis

   • Perform structural and geotechnical analysis for underground structures, including tunnels, retaining walls, and foundations.
   • Develop detailed designs and specifications for underground construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
   • Conduct finite element modeling and simulation to assess the structural integrity and performance of underground systems.

2. Project Management

   • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical engineers, architects, and contractors, to deliver high-quality designs.
   • Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
   • Monitor project progress and provide technical support during construction.

3. Site Investigation and Assessment

   • Conduct site investigations to evaluate soil and rock conditions, groundwater levels, and other geotechnical factors.
   • Analyze geological and geotechnical data to inform design decisions and mitigate risks.

4. Construction Oversight

   • Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
   • Address technical challenges and provide solutions to on-site issues in real-time.

5. Risk Management and Safety

   • Identify potential risks associated with underground construction and develop mitigation strategies.
   • Ensure all designs and construction activities adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations.

6. Documentation and Reporting

   • Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
   • Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to clients and project teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in the design and construction of underground structures.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, PLAXIS, SAP2000, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles, soil-structure interaction, and structural analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
