Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

● Carry out engineering design with minimal supervision in accordance with local codes or relevant international design code and standards

● Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity

● Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing

● Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants

● Observe, review and report of works on site

● Handle client liaison and reporting

● Provide leadership to projects including planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting

● Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients

● Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance

● To work with the Qualified Person (QP) to develop electrical building services designs and calculations.

Key Requirements

· Degree in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore will be an advantage)

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in the design & supervision of building service projects (Those with 5 years’ experience and/or Certified Professional Engineers will be considered for a senior position).

· Experience in a consultancy environment

· Experience in leading roles for design & design management of healthcare, residential, commercial, institutional or hotel projects will be an advantage

· Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures

· Competent user with relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling and Navisworks

· Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English

· Able to work independently & exercise initiative

· Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
