NTU Shared Services (NSS) is a centralized unit within Nanyang Technological University (NTU) that provides a wide range of administrative, operational, and support services to various departments and units within the university. Its primary goal is to streamline and optimize processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality services to support NTU's core mission of education and research.

Job Description

The Executive, a key member of NTU Shared Services (NSS) Automation team, is responsible for developing automation initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders, their primary responsibility is to understand business needs, document, develop, tests and implement low-code solutions to automate business processes. They are also responsible for maintaining implemented solutions and troubleshooting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements

  • Document design specification, technical details and user guide

  • Utilise low-code platforms such as UiPath, and Outsystems to develop automated applications

  • Ensure data integrity, security and proper error handling

  • Perform testing and quality assurance activities

  • Provide support during development, deployment and maintenance phases

Requirements

Required

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related discipline

  • Basic experience or exposure to UiPath

  • Some Experience in automation development roles or demonstrated willingness to learn this field

  • Good interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.

Good-to-have

  • Experience with OutSystems or similar low-code platforms

  • Experience with workflow or reporting tools such as Smartsheet

  • Basic understanding of APIs or data integration
