Who are we?
Frencken Mechatronics is involved in the development and assembly of industrial systems or the semiconductor industry, the healthcare market, and a wide range of analytical applications. The high-quality precision mechanical parts, machine assemblies, and vacuum systems are assembled in both clean room and non-clean room environments. As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.
Key Responsibilities
1) System Integration & Electro-Mechanical Assembly (as assigned)
Perform electro-mechanical assembly/integration tasks as instructed by Supervisor (module install, fit-up/alignment, cable/hose routing, labeling, torque per spec).
Ensure ESD/cleanliness compliance and safe handling of precision parts in 10K working environment.
2) System Test, Calibration & Commissioning
Execute tests per WI/procedures: vacuum pump-down/base pressure/leak checks, gas/MFC verification and purge checks, RF/match/plasma ignition/stability checks (within authorized limits), thermal stability/sensor verification.
Verify safety interlocks, alarms, and tool configuration (BOM/options/software versions/recipes-limits).
3) Troubleshooting, Failure Analysis & Recovery
Troubleshoot failures across vacuum, RF, gas delivery, thermal, pneumatics, sensors, and control I/O using structured methods.
Support rework/repair and confirm effectiveness through retest with documented evidence.
4) Test Station Readiness & Measurement Integrity
Maintain readiness of test stations, fixtures, and diagnostic tools; support basic PM checks and downtime escalation.
Ensure instruments/tools are within calibration; support MSA/GR&R activities when required.
5) Quality, Documentation & Compliance
Maintain complete, traceable records (logs, checklists, calibration certs, configuration control, release evidence).
Follow nonconformance/MRB and containment process; support audit readiness and CAPA closure verification.
6) Customer Technical Meetings, Support
Attend customer technical meetings, acceptance test reviews as assigned; present test evidence, failure findings, containment actions, and closure status.
Track and close customer action items with internal alignment and documented proof.
7) Daily Reporting & Shift Pass-Down
Prepare daily reports (output, WIP, FPY/retest, top failures, downtime, risks/constraints).
Conduct structured shift handover (station status, pending retests, priority tools, containment, parts constraints).
8) Safety, 5S & CIP
Comply with EHS/ESD and controlled-environment requirements (vacuum/gas/electrical safety awareness, LOTO where authorized).
Maintain 5S and housekeeping in integration/test areas.
Support audits (ISO/customer) by ensuring documentation, records, calibration evidence, and process adherence are audit-ready.
Participate in continuous improvement to enhance throughput, reduce cycle time, prevent escapes, and improve process robustness.
