We are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, and engaging individuals to join the NAND Central Engineering- Product Yield Improvement Engineering Team. As a CE PYA Engineer at Micron Technology Inc, you will have the opportunity to develop, debug, and maintain code of a new generation NAND Memory, as well as interact and work closely with global teams, take part in debugging test code programs, and have the opportunity to engage in innovative solutions through bench testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing and maintaining Micron state of the art bench tester program for NAND/HBM Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) purpose.
Deliver APG program for critical C1/C1P Probe tests before first Si.
Support Fab YE/PYE users in bench correlation issue.
Develop innovative and user-friendly EFA tools to speed up EFA cycle time
Identify failure signature through Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA), characterize and validate the failure model.
Identify and suggest ESDA/Repair/Parametric probe monitor for visibility and volume data collection for Fab analytics.
Internal Probing (Simulation to support FA, if needed) to help isolate defect location for Physical Failure Analysis (PFA)
Assistance with First Silicon Failure Analysis, fixing, and collaboration with the Fab Yield Improvement Team.
Support evaluation on the New Product Introduction (NPI) test program.
Independently debug and identify root causes of test program issues and provide solutions across internal/external groups.
Take the lead in coordinating priorities to complete project tasks successfully.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors/Masters Electrical Engineering Degree with years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Micron NAND experience is preferred.
Familiar with C/C++, and Python for APG programming.
Positive attitude and self-motivation towards learning and development.
Strong drive and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communicating complex technical ideas/concepts effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve sophisticated problems creatively.
Knowledge of Backend Merlin/uMate test program is an added advantage.
