Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Join an inclusive team passionate about one thing: using their expertise in the relentless pursuit of innovation for customers and partners. The solutions we build help make everything from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity, sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Monitor daily process operations and support wafer movement through the NTI RDA line to ensure timely execution of development activities and experiments.
  • Perform lot disposition by reviewing inspection results, process conditions, experimental requirements, and established operational guidelines. Escalate abnormal findings to application engineers and process owners when required.
  • Support setup, execution, and maintenance of basic inspection recipes across optical inspection workstations, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and business requirements.
  • Coordinate and prioritize inspection requests from Process Integration, Process Development, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to meet committed cycle time and learning objectives.
  • Track and communicate lot status, inspection progress, tool utilization, and operational risks to relevant stakeholders during shift handovers and routine operations reviews.
  • Assist engineers in data collection, wafer disposition, experiment execution, recipe qualifications, and characterization activities to support technology development and manufacturing transfers.
  • Support the qualification, documentation, and continuous improvement of operational workflows, inspection methodologies, and best practices across RDA inspection workstations.
  • Drive adherence to quality, safety, and operational excellence standards while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, cycle time, and inspection readiness.
  • Participate in troubleshooting basic recipe, lot flow, and operational issues while working closely with tool owners, application engineers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Support technology transfer activities by assisting with process monitoring, inspection execution, and ramp support during new technology introduction and qualification phases.

Successful candidates for this position must have:
  • Passion for semiconductor technology, process development, and manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely operational decisions based on available data.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and shift-based environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and operational discipline. Ability to be self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced R&D environment.
  • Willingness to learn inspection methodologies, process fundamentals, and semiconductor manufacturing workflows.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI, JMP, or similar analytical platforms is desirable.
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of semiconductor process flow, wafer disposition methodologies, defect inspection concepts, and process monitoring practices.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, yield improvement, defectivity management, or inspection systems is desirable.
  • Experience with optical inspection tools, metrology systems, or manufacturing operations is an advantage.
  • Exposure to R&D, technology development, manufacturing transfers, or high-volume manufacturing environments is desirable.
  • Exposure to leveraging AI, making use of generative AI to automate routine tasks and develop productivity improvement projects

Preferred Attributes
  • Experience supporting shift operations in semiconductor manufacturing or development environments.
  • Familiarity with recipe setup and execution on optical inspection platforms.
  • Ability to interpret inspection results and apply established disposition criteria.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
