The Industrial Engineer will enhance factory performance using capacity models, analytical modeling, and simulations, while collaborating with teams to optimize operational flow.
Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all .
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
As an Industrial Engineering (IE) Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening our factory's performance and efficiency. You will develop a solid understanding of capacity models, using both static and dynamic parameters to evaluate system behavior. In this role, you will validate workstation performance across multiple platforms by applying analytical modeling and discrete event simulation techniques.
You will also use SQL, Python, and other analytical tools to uncover insights, test assumptions, and optimize model accuracy. Through academic-based simulations and data-driven estimations, you will identify opportunities to improve capacity, remove constraints, and enhance overall operational flow. You will explore concepts such as the theory of constraints (TOC) and bottleneck identification to help our teams make informed, timely decisions that improve system efficiency.
This role provides opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn advanced modeling methodologies, and contribute directly to performance improvements across the organization.
