The Opportunity
Join Adobe as an Employee Relations Consultant supporting our APAC and Japan teams. In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing expert guidance in areas such as (but not limited to) complex performance management, investigations, conflict resolution, and sensitive exits. You’ll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Legal Counsel, and other internal stakeholders in developing employee and HR compliance policies and processes.
This is a highly proactive role where you’ll leverage data insights to identify trends, mitigate risks, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture!
What You’ll Do
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing coaching on sensitive work-related issues such as conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Apply sound judgment and understanding of Adobe’s policies, culture, and values to drive positive outcomes.
Manage investigations into compliance and employee-related matters, assess risks in involuntary separations, and collaborate with HR Business Partners and Legal to recommend and implement appropriate actions.
Analyze data and trends to proactively identify risks, develop preventive programs, and support organizational changes including reorganizations.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all ER cases, and contribute to regional and global projects to scale best practices and enhance employee experience.
Facilitate workshops and enablement sessions to build manager capability in handling performance, engagement, and conflict, aligned with Adobe’s performance philosophy
What you need to succeed
7+ years of experience in Employee Relations and/or HR Business Partnering, with at least 3 years focused on ER.
Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority ER cases with consistency and discretion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to navigate sensitive conversations with tact and empathy.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills in complex and ambiguous situations.
Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
High integrity and ethical standards!
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; legal background is a plus.
Fluency in English; additional language skills (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, or Thai) are highly desirable.
