As a key member of our Corporate Banking team, you'll play a vital role in managing credit risk for our corporate clients. You'll work closely with relationship managers to assess creditworthiness, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. It's a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
How you succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and assess credit risks, and develop effective risk management strategies. Your ability to analyze complex data, think critically, and communicate effectively will be essential in driving business growth while managing risk.
What you do :

- Independent review of credit proposals/transactional requests ensuring in line with Bank’s appetite, internal credit policies & adherence to related regulatory requirements, prior to approval or further escalation.

-To assist department particularly in :-

1) maintaining quality of credit proposals ensuring accuracy of information & in-depth risk analysis
2) regular &/or ad-hoc portfolio monitoring.
3) proactively identify potential credit risk concern counterparts along with appropriate mitigation.
4) to participate in credit projects from time to time.

- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry developments, and market trends
Who you are :

- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience in corporate banking and/or credit related experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and think critically.

- Good trade finance knowledge and structuring skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Prior experience in managing commodities portfolio and/or China corporate segment.

- Fluency in Mandarin as candidate will be assigned to handle China Corporate segment.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, industry developments, and market trends
