Responsibilities:

A. Trading & Market-Making Gold Bullion

  • Execute physical bullion trades across spot, forwards, and swaps.

  • Provide two-way pricing to institutional clients, industrial users, refiners, and wholesale distributors.

  • Hedge exposures using OTC forwards/swaps, CME/COMEX futures and other authorized exchanges

  • Manage allocated/unallocated positions across global vaults.

B. Physical Operations & Logistics Coordination

  • Work with refiners (eg Metalor, PAMP, Argor-Heraeus, Heraeus).

  • Coordinate bar shipments, customs clearance, insurance, and transport.

  • Oversee vault inventory, bar lists, serial tracking, and chain-of-custody.

  • Maintain Good Delivery compliance and reconciliation processes

Qualifications & Skills :

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics

  • At least 12-15 years of experience in a similar role

  • Strong understanding of basis trading with deep knowledge of pricing and risk concepts is strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience in physical gold trading including interaction with refineries, vaults and custodians.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
