JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead value creation initiatives across portfolio companies. This role focuses on defining and driving strategies that accelerate growth, operational efficiency, and investment performance.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the investment, portfolio management and corporate finance teams to support the development and execution of value creation strategies for portfolio companies, working closely with company leadership to implement strategic, operational, financial and ESG initiatives, including identifying and scaling opportunities and driving cost optimisation.
  • Lead post deal integration and transition of newly acquired portfolio companies, including Day 1 readiness, execution of the 100 day plan, governance setup, etc).
  • Work with investment and portfolio management teams on the development and execution of exit strategies for portfolio companies, including IPOs, trade sales, or secondary buyouts.
  • Collaborate with investment and portfolio management teams to evaluate new investments, supporting due diligence efforts to assess the value creation potential of target investments.
  • Work with investment and portfolio management teams to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investment committees and portfolio company boards, to communicate progress, risks, and value creation outcomes, as well as to provide guidance and support on financial and operational decisions.
  • Guide and mentor team members to support their professional development and enhance team performance.
  • Performance monitoring and reporting through tracking business, financial and operational performance metrics established and providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on the progress of value creation initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business management, engineering or related field disciplines, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience; background in management consulting, business operations and strategy, and post deal integration will be an added advantage.
