About the Function

The Group Product team builds and scales shared platforms that power GFG’s brand partner growth across LATAM, SEA and ANZ.

This team owns two core global product platforms:

  • SellerCenter – the core platform behind GFG’s Marketplace business (around 40% of Group NMV) and more than 6,000 brand partners, providing the tools to manage assortment, pricing, inventory, orders and performance on GFG.
  • Marketing by GFG – the product and platform for GFG’s paid marketing services, helping brand partners accelerate sales and awareness through on‑site and off‑site campaigns, serving both Marketplace and Retail.

As Director of Product for SellerCenter and Marketing by GFG, you will own these platforms end‑to‑end at Group level – from vision and strategy through to roadmap and execution. You will shape how our partner‑facing platforms support GFG’s Marketplace, Retail and Platform Services ambitions, lead multiple product teams, and work closely with regional and commercial leaders to make these platforms a true competitive advantage in how we serve our brand partners.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, set and implement the product vision, strategy and OKRs for our SellerCenter and Marketing by GFG products, aligned to GFG’s business goals.
  • Lead execution across multiple squads and regions, partnering with Group Engineering and regional tech leaders to deliver high‑quality solutions from discovery to launch and iteration.
  • Embed strong insight on brand partners and internal users, ensuring decisions are grounded in data, research, experimentation and regular engagement.
  • Act as a key partner to regional and commercial stakeholders, aligning on priorities, co‑owning business metrics, and maintaining effective communication and operating rhythms.
  • Build and develop a high‑performing product organisation, hiring, coaching and supporting Product Managers and PM leaders, and continuously improving product practices and culture.
  • Ensure that the product organization is a customer-centric team, focused on business needs and growth objectives
  • Manages and communicates with key leaders on project status, key risks and issues.

What does it take to succeed?

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in leading product teams and launching successful consumer-facing software products
  • Experience in managing product life cycles from concept to launch in fast-paced, dynamic environments, and managing Agile and Scrum teams to deliver technology solutions that meet customer expectations for timeliness and quality
  • Experience working in industries such as technology, software, e-commerce, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage an evolving product backlog and able to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority, and engage multiple stakeholders of varying seniority with compassion, confidence and exceptional clarity to communicate the product strategy and overall vision for your product.
  • Effective partner to the senior management team and cross-functional and regional business partners to understand strategic direction and capabilities critical for success
  • Strong background in market analysis, customer insights, and data-driven product decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer or a related field.
