Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Management Leader to join the Bullish Product Management team.

As Director, Product Management for Growth, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and executing growth-focused product strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention across Bullish Group portfolio companies (Bullish Exchange & CoinDesk). You will blend entrepreneurial thinking with data-driven rigor to capture new market opportunities and expand Bullish Group’s footprint in the rapidly evolving digital assets landscape.

This leadership position sits at the intersection of product, marketing, analytics, and business operations. You will own the end-to-end growth strategy for Bullish Group’s offerings, from identifying untapped market opportunities to refining user funnels, optimizing onboarding experiences, and fostering long-term user loyalty. You will also be responsible for shaping and deploying robust experimentation frameworks that systematically improve key product metrics.

Responsibilities: 

  • Growth Strategy & Vision

    • Define and Champion Growth Goals: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop ambitious yet achievable growth objectives. Align these goals with Bullish Group’s broader strategic vision and revenue targets

    • Holistic Product View: Ensure that growth initiatives effectively integrate the unique value propositions across our brand portfolio; Bullish Exchange, CoinDesk Media, CoinDesk Indices, and CCData

  • Roadmap Planning & Execution

    • Roadmap Ownership: Develop and prioritize a comprehensive growth roadmap that balances quick wins with longer-term strategic bets

    • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with engineering, marketing, design, data analytics, and operations teams to ensure timely and seamless execution of growth projects

    • Agile & Iterative Delivery: Implement agile best practices to iterate quickly, experiment with new features or campaigns, and apply learnings to refine the product

  • Experimentation & Optimization

    • A/B Testing & Experiments: Design, launch, and evaluate experiments to test hypotheses around user engagement, retention, and monetization. Continuously refine product funnels based on insights

    • Data Analysis & Insights: Champion a data-driven approach, utilizing tools and metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, custom dashboards) to identify user behavior patterns and optimize product flows

    • Scalable Processes: Implement robust frameworks to standardize experimentation, documentation, and knowledge sharing across product teams

  • User Acquisition, Engagement & Retention

    • Acquisition Channels: Work in tandem with marketing and partnership teams to identify and optimize key acquisition channels (e.g., SEO, paid media, influencer campaigns, referral programs)

    • Onboarding & Conversion Flows: Develop onboarding flows and product touchpoints that streamline conversion rates and enhance user satisfaction

    • Lifecycle Management: Drive initiatives that nurture active users into loyal advocates, utilizing segmentation strategies, lifecycle campaigns, and personalized experiences

  • Product & Market Expansion

    • New Markets & Partnerships: Research and validate market expansion opportunities, including strategic partnerships or localized product offerings

    • Competitive Landscape: Remain vigilant of competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies in crypto, digital assets, and fintech to propose innovative product initiatives that differentiate Bullish Group

    • Ability to understand the regulatory landscape affecting digital assets, ensuring that all products comply with global financial regulations and industry standards

  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Management & Mentorship: Recruit, manage, and develop a high-impact team of product managers and growth specialists. Provide coaching on best practices, experimentation techniques, and career growth paths

    • Culture of Innovation: Foster an environment that encourages creative thinking, rapid experimentation, and continuous learning

    • Collaboration: Serve as the key growth ambassador, aligning internal stakeholders around shared objectives, resources, and timelines

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

    • Regular Updates: Provide proactive and transparent communication to senior executives and cross-functional teams on growth strategies, progress, challenges, and successes

    • Metrics & KPI Tracking: Establish a robust set of KPIs (e.g., MAU, retention, activation rates, LTV, CPA, ROI) that accurately measure progress against growth initiatives

    • Budget & Resource Allocation: Work with finance and executive leadership to secure and allocate resources that align with strategic growth imperatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. MBA or an advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity focused on growth or user-facing products

  • Proven success in driving significant growth outcomes in a high-paced tech or fintech environment

  • Deep understanding of crypto, digital assets, exchanges, trading platforms, financial indices, or related fintech/financial services

  • Familiarity with B2C and B2B product strategies, including subscription or SaaS-based models, is a plus

  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics, Mixpanel), running SQL queries, and leveraging product analytics platforms to inform decision-making

  • Strong experience in designing and interpreting A/B tests, as well as developing actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative user research

  • Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and scaling diverse product teams across multiple geographies

  • Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities to influence executive stakeholders, partner with senior leaders, and guide cross-functional teams

  • Skilled at translating complex trends into forward-looking product strategies and distinguishing between short-term tactical actions and long-term strategic plays

  • Comfortable taking calculated risks, navigating uncertainty, and pivoting quickly when market signals or data insights shift

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of distilling complex product strategies into clear updates for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to manage up effectively, presenting compelling business cases and progress updates to executive leadership

  • Comfortable being the “face of a product”

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic organization where priorities can change frequently

  • Experience working in a distributed organization

Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $225,000 - $240,000 USD  + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
