The Director, Productivity & Planning Execution is responsible for owning the translation of GSA’s Category Productivity pipelines into business outcomes.
This role acts as the central integrator between procurement, finance and Supply Chain productivity ensuring that strategic priorities are converted into measurable value through disciplined delivery of a multi-year productivity pipeline.
Operating as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, this role governs the multi-year productivity and value agenda, shapes the enterprise value reporting that is executed by GSA, and establishes the governance, cadence, and narrative required to deliver GSA’s productivity program at scale.
Key Responsibilities1. Value Planning & Productivity Pipeline Management
Lead the development and enduring management of a robust, Finance aligned multi-year value plan covering value, productivity, quality, risk reduction, and resilience outcomes.
Operate a unified, standardised productivity pipeline that ensuring initiatives are clearly scoped, financially credible, prioritised, and tracked through to benefit realisation.
Support category teams – Direct, Logistics, Indirect, and cross functional teams to ensure pipeline health, balanced portfolio coverage, and alignment with strategic priorities.
Report regularly to leadership on the rolling pipeline of productivity and development of executive communications.
2. Portfolio Management & Governance
Support the development of strategic choices into integrated and actionable portfolios with clear business cases, deliverables, timelines, and value measures. Ensure critical pathways are practical, executable, and linked to Enterprise value creation.
Manage and own the end to end execution cadence, with top down multi-level governance through objectives, plans and delivery.
Establish and maintain governance routines, frameworks, tools, and standards that enable consistent integrated execution across teams and regions.
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to project teams as required. Build trust and alignment across teams and key stakeholders.
3. Strategy Support & Advisory
Contribute to procurement strategy development through analysis, insights, benchmarking, scenario modelling and synthesis.
Support prioritisation, capability and resource planning across strategic initiatives.
Serve as a and advisor to GSA leadership on execution feasibility, sequencing, and enterprise impact of productivity planning.
4. Executive Communications
Develop clear, compelling executive level narratives, eg slides and reporting that articulates strategy, value opportunity, progress, risks and results.
Create insights, and decision-ready materials that simplify complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
Establish and maintain a consistent, high-impact communication cadence aligned to enterprise reporting cycles.
Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Strategy, Transformation, or related fields.
Significant experience leading enterprise value programs and portfolio management. Proven ability to develop value plans, financial benefit frameworks, and productivity pipelines.
Exceptional storytelling and senior executive communication skills.
