Summary: Sentient is seeking a Senior Investor Relations Director to drive strategic partnerships and funding in the AI-blockchain space. This remote role involves building investor networks, conducting market research, organizing events, and supporting ecosystem growth through fundraising and liquidity strategies. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, institutional investors, family offices, and liquidity providers in the AI, web3, and blockchain sectors.
Conduct in-depth market research on industry trends, competitor activities, investor sentiment, and emerging opportunities in AI-decentralized technologies, providing actionable insights to the executive team.
Organize and lead investor events, webinars, conferences, and demo days; represent Sentient at industry gatherings to enhance visibility and foster partnerships.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., product, engineering, and accelerator programs) to align investor relations with company goals, including crafting investment proposals and mechanisms to attract and retain capital.
Manage investor communications, including quarterly updates, data reporting, and prompt responses to inquiries, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Support strategic partnerships that drive ecosystem growth, such as liquidity provisioning, co-investments, and integrations with decentralized protocols.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in investor relations, venture capital, business development, or strategic partnerships within the web3, blockchain, AI, or technology sectors.
Proven track record of building investor networks, securing funding, negotiating terms, and executing partnerships that drive growth and total value locked (TVL).
Strong understanding of blockchain, AI, DeFi, tokenized assets, staking, and liquidity management, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for engaging investors, ecosystem teams, and internal stakeholders.
Established network within web3 venture capitalists, institutional investors, and liquidity providers.
