Global Human Resources (HR) Solutions Overview
Global HR Solutions is a new, trailblazing organisation within Global HR (GHR) that performs as an internal consulting function. We are a flexible and agile team that delivers upon a portfolio of prioritised projects to enable the GHR operating model, provide strategic project and cyclical process support, and bring HR analytics and data-driven insights to our clients within HR and the business.

NUMBER OF DIRECT REPORTS
The Process Excellence Lead will lead a team of contingent process excellence resources. The final number of team members is to be confirmed. Team members are anticipated to reside across the three regions: Americas, APAC, and EMEA.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Upon hire, the successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Global HR Solutions and Project Canyon Lead (lead for GHR’s Operating Model Transformation), GHR Leadership Team members, Global HR Process Owners, and HR Subject Matter Experts across practice areas and geographies to document and improve / re-engineer existing processes, as well as to define new processes and ways of working to optimise operational efficiency and enhance the client experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Advise clients on internal and external leading practices in process excellence and lessons learned to enable results and optimse outcomes
- Lead the evaluation, design, enhancement, and development of processes, procedures, and solutions to increase efficiency, improve time management, reduce costs, and enhance risk management
- Lead key activities across the engagement lifecycle, including:
- Resource Allocation: Partner with HR Solutions Operations & Resource Manager and GHR Initiative Lead (i.e., primary client) to finalise and confirm HR Solutions – Process Excellence Team resources based on engagement requirements
- Prepare & Kick-off: Re-validate client needs, engagement objectives, expected outcomes, roles, and responsibilities; mobilise the project to support successful delivery
- Execute: Plan, manage, and execute engagements:
- Understand business requirements and scope deliverables to meet business demand
- Assess the feasibility of proposed initiatives and contribute to the prioritisation process
- Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance for engagement activities and deliverables
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with senior leaders and their teams
- Own risk / issue management, escalation, and resolution
- Manage client relationships and HR Solutions – Process Excellence Team resources
- Monitor and assess project outcomes against metrics, making refinements as needed
- Close & Sustain: Oversee knowledge and capability transfer to clients (as needed); complete engagements; lead post-mortem to document lessons learned and drive continuous improvement; check-in with clients over time to maintain the relationship and confirm solution adoption and sustainability
- Document current state HR processes from across regions and countries
- Plan, develop, and perform activity analysis to help clients better understand how HR work is being done (e.g., why is it done, who is doing it, how much time does it take it, where is it done, etc.)
- Lead interviews and listening sessions with practitioners and stakeholders to better understand current state processes, work practices, and pain points, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Review existing Global HR processes and identify, assess, and document process problems and gaps (e.g., inefficiencies, bottlenecks, resource redundancies and challenges, risks, and issues)
- Facilitate organisational process workshops to identify and solve process issues with key stakeholders and executers (e.g., Global Process Owners, Global HR COE Heads and teams, HR Central Services, Regional CHROs, HRBPs, etc.)
- Develop, document, and socialise recommended future-state processes and solutions, including identifying changes and improvements for existing processes, procedures, policies, controls, and implementation timelines
- Map the transition from current to future state processes to enable smooth shifts and sustainable results
- Work with and/or train managers and teams to ensure that processes are clear and can be applied quickly and efficiently
- Develop success metrics (e.g., Service Level Agreements (SLAs), adoption metrics) and approaches to monitor and assess implemented processes to ensure outcomes meet expectations, and prioritise processes and/or steps for continuous improvement, with targeted outcomes
- Develop and deliver engagement updates to Project Canyon Core Team, Steering Committee / GHR Leadership Team, and other key stakeholders
- Establish trust and credibility with clients; build and maintain long-term working relationships across GHR and the business
- Serve as a team leader for Process Excellence team members, including having responsibility for regular feedback / coaching sessions to help optimise team member performance and results
- Develop and lead HR Solutions Process Excellence community of practice, including defining and managing the approach and methodology, standards, ways of working, and enabling tools, to drive ongoing team member capability development and enhanced client results
- Practise the apprenticeship model across project engagements, enabling Process Excellence Team members to learn side-by-side from you and fellow team members to accelerate capability development and grow bench strength
- Be a part of the Global HR Solutions Leadership Team, helping to shape Global HR Solutions’ near- and long-term strategy, objectives, services, processes, and results; assist in growing and sustaining the organisation over time
- Champion HR Solutions Process Excellence offerings with HR colleagues and the business
- Partner with the Global Head of HR Solutions to embed feedback loops with clients and HR Solutions team members to inform continuous improvements to services and client and team member experience
- Drive continuous improvement and upskilling for the organisation; advocate for new ways of working
- Help foster and sustain a diverse, inclusive, energising, and supportive HR Solutions culture, with a focus on results, efficient and collaborative work practices, and wellbeing
WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Extensive process mapping and re-engineering experience
- Leadership and line management experience, with proven ability for leading and managing projects, fostering high-performing teams, managing client relationships, and delivering results
- History of delivering results in a high-pressured, fast-paced, heavily matrixed environment
- Demonstrated hands-on experience executing process mapping and end-to-end re-engineering within a large, matrixed, complex organisation, and highly regulated environment
- Experience leading geographically dispersed stakeholders through process excellence exercises
- Skilled at process documentation (e.g., Process flows / maps, procedures, etc.), including the use of process mapping tools and software (e.g., Visio, etc.)
- Able to consider stakeholder needs and input as well as leading practices and insights from industry trends when making or influencing strategic decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to develop and present regular updates and deliverables to executive-level audiences
- Excellent meeting facilitation, working session / workshop management, and training skills
- Project management and resource management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects with many interdependencies simultaneously
- Collaboration and influencing skills, with proven ability to address and manage stakeholder needs while prioritising competing objectives, driving progress, and achieving results
- Negotiation and conflict management
- Proven ability to work effectively across cultures and in a global environment
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred, but not required

The compensation and benefits information in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside of the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits consistent with the local market.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $155,000 - $195,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
