We’re seeking a Director, Talent Lead, APAC based in Singapore, to join our global Talent Growth & Development team.
This is an opportunity to shape how BNY develops future talent across APAC. In this regional role, you will partner with senior leaders and global Talent Growth & Development colleagues to deliver scalable, skills-led talent solutions that strengthen our leadership pipeline, support business growth and build the workforce of the future.
You will lead and support a broad portfolio of talent priorities across APAC, including early careers, manager development, leadership and management workshops, talent reviews, high-potential development and succession planning. You will also help embed Skills at BNY across talent processes, ensuring development experiences are aligned to the capabilities, behaviours and future skills BNY needs to succeed.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Shape and deliver a distinctive early careers experience that builds BNY’s future talent pipeline across APAC.
- Facilitate engaging Leadership & Management workshops that help managers strengthen coaching, feedback, decision-making and team effectiveness.
- Support core talent management practices, including talent reviews, high-potential development and succession planning.
- Embed Skills at BNY across talent processes, helping leaders and employees connect development priorities to the capabilities needed for future success.
- Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and design targeted development solutions that support business objectives and improve workforce performance.
- Use data, feedback and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of early careers and talent programmes, continuously improving offerings to meet evolving organisational needs.
- Lead cross-functional delivery of leadership and management programming, incorporating AI and digital tools to improve experience, accessibility and engagement.
- Bring external insight and internal best practice to strengthen BNY’s approach to early careers, talent management and leadership development.
- Foster a culture of continuous development by encouraging employees and managers to take ownership of growth, career development and future readiness.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Essential experience and skills
- Significant experience in talent management, talent development, early careers, organisational development, leadership development or a related field.
- Strong experience designing and delivering talent processes, development experiences or leadership and management programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders, influence across a matrixed organisation and translate business priorities into practical talent solutions.
- Strong facilitation, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfort using data, feedback and insights to measure impact and continuously improve talent offerings.
- Proficiency in using AI and digital tools to create accessible, engaging and effective development experiences.
Preferred experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree or certification in talent management, talent development, coaching, organisational development or a related discipline.
- Experience working across APAC markets in a regional/global talent role.
- Experience supporting early careers, succession planning, high-potential development or skills-based talent strategies.
