About this role
We are currently seeking a highly driven individual specializing in Fixed Income to join our APAC Fundamental Fixed Income team based in Singapore. This role requires strong client relationship management skills, exceptional sales acumen, and an ability to understand fixed income investments thoroughly to promote and sell our financial products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire new clients interested in fixed income investments, expanding our client base in the region.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their investment objectives, and providing tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to promote fixed income investment products, aligning with market trends and client goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities for growth, providing insights and recommendations to drive sales.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, managing risks associated with fixed income investments.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including investment teams, product strategy, research analysts, traders, and compliance officers, to ensure cohesive and effective approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA are preferred but not essential.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or client portfolio management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of fixed income securities, including bond pricing and yield analysis, with the ability to clearly explain these concepts to clients.
- Demonstrated excellence in sales and negotiation, with a consistent ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating investment strategies and concepts effectively to clients.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a deep understanding of client needs and a commitment to delivering tailored solutions.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to fixed income investments.
- Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Chinese or other regional languages is a plus, as the role involves engaging with clients across multiple locations in the APAC region.
