Job Title: Digital Solutions Development Intern
Job Summary
Singapore Digital Manufacturing Technology Centre’s (SDMTC) R&D operations and product development activities are expanding at a fast pace. Digital tools and solutions are needed to keep up with these activities which include:

AM Suitability framework, with feedstock & cost estimation tools
-
Inventory management tool
These digital tools will significantly enhance the R&D and product development processes, enabling SDMTC to achieve the desired outcomes more quickly.
Key Responsibilities
-
Successfully develop two working platforms for SDMTC, preferably through Power Apps
-
Integrated AM suitability, together with feedstock & cost estimation tool
-
Inventory tracking management
-
Customize the solutions for the workflows of two primary additive manufacturing processes
-
Laser Powderbed Fusion (LPBF)
-
Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM)
-
Complete documentation and procedures (SOPs) for implemented digital solutions in SDMTC that includes checklists, digital workflows and dashboards
-
Perform maintenance work, as needed for implemented digital solutions in SDMTC in addition to data archiving.
Requisite Criteria & Skills
-
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and dashboards (such as Grafana)
-
Good knowledge of web and mobile app development
-
Understanding of REST API and protocols BACnet, MQTT,TCP/IP,HTTP,OPCUA and web services
-
Good programming skills in C#, JavaScript, Python , Excel VBA

Familiarity with IoT systems and sensor integration
-
Basic knowledge of Additive Manufacturing (3D printing)

Good attitude towards work and a passion for Digitalization.
