Digital Project Lead – Marketing (Maternity Cover) 

Auckland Central | Fixed‑term contract (April 2026 – June 2027) 

We’re looking for a hands‑on Digital Project Lead – Marketing to join our team on a maternity cover. This role is ideal for an experienced digital marketer or digital project specialist who enjoys getting into the detail, delivering practical improvements that enhance customer experience, and confidently managing and governing multiple digital platforms across 20 brands. 

The role is focused on maintaining stability, governance, and performance across our marketing technology stack, providing day‑to‑day operational oversight and troubleshooting, while also delivering a range of practical, customer‑facing digital initiatives that improve customer experience and marketing effectiveness. 

What will you be doing? 

  • Deliver small to medium digital initiatives, including website enhancements, CX improvements, email marketing, and platform updates 

  • Work closely with marketing, IT, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope 

  • Provide day‑to‑day ownership of core marketing platforms, ensuring performance, integrations, governance standards, and issue resolution 

  • Gather and document business and technical requirements, including customer journeys and supporting business processes 

  • Testing, documentation, training, and handover to business users ensure smooth adoption of delivered initiatives 

 

What will you bring? 

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering digital marketing technology or website projects 

  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills 

  • Hands‑on experience across websites, email marketing, and digital customer experience initiatives 

  • Confidence working with external agencies and internal technical teams 

  • The ability to balance delivery work with ongoing platform governance and operational oversight

  • Understanding of SEO, UX/UI, analytics, and business process mapping
