Devops Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and secure backend systems and APIs. The role requires strong proficiency in backend programming languages, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and expertise in containerization and observability tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and Bitbucket
- Perform OCP/PCF administration tasks, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting of containerized applications
- Integrate and manage observability tools such as Grafana and Greylog to monitor system health, performance, and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of code changes and automated testing
- Work collaboratively with the infrastructure team to stand up and maintain critical environments, including:
- OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
- Redis
- PostgreSQL
- S3
- NFS
- Contribute to the setup and configuration of network routes, load balancing, firewalls
- Manage SSL certificates, identity, and access management solutions
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages, such as Java
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and Bitbucket
- Experience with containerization platforms, such as OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
- Knowledge of observability tools, such as Grafana and Greylog
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including clean code, testing, and version control
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with database management systems, such as PostgreSQL and Redis
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions, such as S3
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and command-line interfaces
