Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for Trade Finance applications, automate processes, monitor systems, and ensure security compliance within banking environments.
About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Trade Finance within the Banking domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines, API integration, and automation across cloud and on-prem environments. This role demands close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and release teams to ensure secure, efficient, and continuous delivery of high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Trade Finance applications.
- Work closely with development teams to support API integrations, versioning, and deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using industry best practices.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security compliance in banking environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
- Manage environments across Dev, UAT, and Production, ensuring proper release governance and audit compliance.
- Integrate and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with Trade Finance business and technical stakeholders to align delivery with functional needs.
- Ensure all solutions meet banking security and compliance standards.
- 7–10 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in DevOps roles.
- Mandatory Banking domain experience, specifically in Trade Finance systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Solid experience in API development, integration, and management (REST, OpenAPI, Postman, Swagger).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, Groovy, or Bash).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Exposure to application servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
- Good understanding of security, access control, and audit frameworks within banking.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Trade Finance platforms (e.g., Finastra, Surecomp, Eximbills, or equivalent).
- Certifications in Cloud (Azure/AWS) or DevOps are a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API gateways.
