Job Description

You will report to Engineering manager based in Singapore.
Main Responsibilities:
1. You will automate builds and develop and integrate new tools to support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and reporting across projects.
2. You will use Python and PowerShell, to contribute equally on a global Scrum Team. The team develops, tests, and delivers automated solutions for Rockwell's current-generation and next-generation industrial control Firmware and Software applications.
3. After personal hands-on use, identify one area of Rockwell's Intelligent Devices automated build and deployment system that needs improvement. Implement the code change, and demo the new version of the build/deploy system by the end of your Intern term.
4. Develop metrics and dashboards to track development quality indicators and process health across projects.
5. You will help define and refining measurable, top down Indicators for development execution and quality.
6. Collaborate with firmware, software, DevOps, and quality engineers to support continuous improvement projects.
7. Coordinate effort among multiple sites and other DevOps & Quality Control personnel.
Qualifications: Education, Desired Experience
1. Bachelor (Undergraduate) of Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
2. You will collaborate among different functions.
3. Experience with Python, Power Shell, Networking and firewalls, Server management, virtual machines, packaging chocolatey installers, image management
