[What the role is]

The Growth Enterprise Development (GED) division in Enterprise Singapore is responsible for strategies and programmes to intensify the Government’s efforts in developing a strong core of Singapore Global Enterprises (SGEs) that will serve as a pillar of growth for the Singapore economy, thereby creating good job opportunities for Singaporeans. The division collaborates with EnterpriseSG’s business units to identify promising growth-stage enterprises and develops value creation strategies and initiatives to accelerate the growth of these companies.
The Scale-Up team in GED is responsible for the conceptualisation and execution of Scale-Up, EnterpriseSG’s flagship programme to help aspiring, high growth companies accelerate their growth and become global champions.
Our team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive the end-to-end process in an agile and iterative manner, from programme design, selection and onboarding of suitable enterprises and programme partners to programme execution and ongoing engagement with the business leaders to ensure that their growth needs are effectively met.

[What you will be working on]

This individual will play a key role in driving the design and delivery of the Scale‑Up programme while managing senior relationships with high‑growth companies to support and accelerate their growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and manage partners to ensure the effectiveness and continued success of the Scale-Up programme

  • Work closely with EnterpriseSG’s business units such as Industry Clusters, Global Markets and Programmes & Policies teams to plan and execute initiatives to support the companies in Scale-Up

  • Build C-suite and executive relationships with the companies to understand their interests and ensure their evolving growth needs are met

  • Support companies on their growth journey post-programme by designing and executing an effective alumni engagement strategy and leadership community

  • Analyse qualitative and qualitative data and conduct programme reviews to continuously enhance Scale-Up's design and delivery, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful for Singapore's high-growth enterprises

[What we are looking for]

We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, able to understand and manage multiple stakeholders demands, strong business acumen and project management skills. The ideal candidate should demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.

What You'll Be Using and Applying

  • 2 to 5 years of public and private sector working experience, with a focus in project management and commercial roles (e.g., business development, corporate strategy, partnerships)

  • Strong team player, who is collaborative, resourceful, and able to multi-task

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, to build alignment across multiple parties (from internal senior decision-makers to external interagency counterparts), including managing differing views and objectives.

  • Strong organisational, written and communication skills, with proven ability to develop crisp presentation decks and documents and communicate effectively with senior decision makers.

  • A passion for public service and in championing the growth of local enterprises.
