 Role Overview

We’re looking for a Design Systems Designer to define, evolve, and scale the visual and interaction patterns that power both our product and marketing ecosystems. This role bridges creative and functional design—creating systems that feel cohesive, flexible, and intuitive across every touchpoint.

You’ll work across brand and product teams to build components, motion systems, documentation, and interaction libraries that raise the bar for design at GRVT. You’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, and marketers to make sure every pixel and pattern not only looks great, but works flawlessly—at scale.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Evolve, design and maintain scalable Figma libraries for product teams (desktop/mobile trading platform, wallet, vaults, onboarding flows) and marketing teams (social templates, landing pages, campaign kits)
  • Document and maintain cross-functional visual standards—color, typography, spacing, iconography, motion—that balance Grvt’s brand expression with usability and accessibility
  • Build and document reusable UI components (buttons, inputs, modals, charts, cards, tables, etc.) with clear interaction states and specs
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure parity between design and code—participating in handoff, QA, and providing support for implementing a component library (React or similar)
  • Support marketing team to create modular systems for social, email, webinar kits, pitch decks, and other campaign assets
  • Develop interaction and motion patterns—microinteractions, transitions, hover/pressed states—that enhance usability and bring the brand to life in product
  • Create and maintain system documentation that explains usage guidelines, component behavior, accessibility rules, and nam\
  • ing conventions
  • Audit and standardize design usage across existing experiences (e.g. identify inconsistencies in spacing, typography, icon usage, colors)
  • Assist in design critiques to ensure consistent system usage across Product Design and Marketing
  • Contribute to roadmap planning for system evolution based on new product features, brand campaigns, or platform requirements
  • Stay on top of emerging best practices in design systems, accessibility, token-based design, and cross-platform UI/UX

 Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product, UX, or Interaction Design, with at least 3 years focused on design systems
  • Deep expertise in building and maintaining design systems for both product and marketing
  • Proficiency in Figma (tokens, variables, auto layout, variants) and knowledge of design tools like Sketch, Framer, or Adobe XD
  • Strong understanding of responsive and native design, accessibility, and interaction design best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across design, engineering, product, and marketing
  • Familiarity with Apple’s HIG and Google’s Material Design
  • Systems thinker with a passion for scalability, consistency, and craft
  • Data-informed mindset—you seek to measure impact, test assumptions, and optimize workflows

Nice Skills to have

  • Experience working in fintech, investment platforms, or crypto products
  • Understanding of front-end development or design handoff workflows
  • Experience bridging branding and product design in a consistent, scalable way
