As a Deal Desk Senior Analyst, APJ at Kong, you will provide strategic guidance for deal structure, ensure alignment of commercial terms with company policies, and drive scalable processes that support our rapidly growing business. You will leverage sharp analytical skills and superior business judgment to drive strategic impact while simultaneously ensuring operational excellence across your function.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with APJ Sales to structure, review, and approve non-standard deals that align with Kong’s financial objectives.

  • Advise on pricing, discounting, and contract terms to ensure compliance while supporting deal velocity.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales, providing strategic insight on deal strategy, best practices, and cross-functional approvals.

  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance to streamline deal approvals, minimize friction, and ensure clean bookings.

  • Maintain and enhance Deal Desk processes and playbooks to drive consistency and scalability across the organization.

  • Analyze deal trends to identify opportunities for optimization in pricing, discounting, and sales efficiency.

  • Support system improvements across Salesforce, CPQ, and other sales tools to increase automation and accuracy.

  • Assist in training and enablement of the APJ sales organization on deal structure, approvals, and policies.

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Finance—preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, order management, and revenue principles.

  • Proven experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Salesforce (CPQ experience a plus).

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach—you’re comfortable balancing compliance with creativity.
