Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Database Migration Specialist with strong Salesforce integration experience to lead and support migration activities from Sybase to Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in migrating stored procedures, data structures, and complex queries, while ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. Prior experience working with CII or sensitive core systems is highly desirable.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in database migration projects (Sybase → MSSQL).
- Strong knowledge of SQL scripting, stored procedures, and database performance optimization.
- Experience with Salesforce data integration and migration workflows.
- Familiarity with CII environments, core financial or telecom systems, or other sensitive infrastructures.
- Cat 2 clearance (or eligible to obtain).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end database migration from Sybase to MSSQL, ensuring seamless transition with minimal downtime.
- Analyze, refactor, and migrate stored procedures, triggers, and views.
- Collaborate with application and Salesforce teams to ensure data consistency across integrated systems.
- Implement best practices for performance tuning, security, and data integrity during and post-migration.
- Prepare technical documentation and evidence for migration validation and audits.
- Work on CII (Critical Information Infrastructure) or sensitive systems with appropriate security clearance (Cat 2).
