The Data Engineer will develop and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory, ensuring data quality and modeling to meet business needs while collaborating with technical and business teams.
Role Overview
We are looking for a strong Data Engineer with Business Analyst capabilities who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in modern data platforms, particularly Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF), along with strong data modeling and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Snowflake
- Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity
- Build and maintain data models (Dimensional / Data Vault 2.0) aligned with business needs
- Develop complex SQL queries and transformations for reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Architects, and Business teams
- Optimize performance of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
- Support data governance, lineage, and documentation activities
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment
- Designed and developed Data Vault models (raw & business vault) in Snowflake using Vault Speed
- Optimized ETL/ELT processes ensuring performance and reliability
- Led design of data models in MySQL Workbench for multi-layer architecture
- Use Azure DevOps pipelines to deploy code to higher environments
- Automated SQL generation scripts with Snowpark, reducing development effort
- Exposure to AI/ML models
