Design, develop, and deploy large-scale data systems to support cybersecurity products for threat detection, investigation, and analysis. Build scalable, high-availability architectures, microservices, and RESTful APIs with CI/CD. Monitor system health and telemetry, scale systems for growing data volumes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational needs.
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Cybersecurity (Data Systems) product group. As a key member of our team, you'll design, develop, and deploy large-scale data systems that support our cybersecurity products and services. You'll work closely with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop and implement solutions, and ensure our products meet the needs of our operations users and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize large-scale data systems for threat detection, investigation, and analysis
- Scale data systems to stay ahead of emerging threats and growing data volumes
- Develop scalable and high-availability system architecture with CI/CD
- Build high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs
- Enhance dashboards for system health monitoring and telemetry collection
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve our data systems
Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)
- Background in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
Nice-to-haves
- Advantageous experience/knowledge in:
- SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK stack)
- Network IDS tools (e.g., Snort, Suricata)
- High-performance, scalable, low-latency networking
- Cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Microservice and RESTful APIs design and development
- DevOps CI/CD tools (e.g., Gitlab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm)
